I am married to George Strayhorn. We have six children: three sons and three daughters. I am an alumnus of UNC at Greensboro, North Carolina, where I earned both a batchelor's and master's degree in middle level education.
I love to read! My favorite genre is historical romance, but I also like to read Stephen King "thrillers" from time to time. King is my favorite author, and To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my most favorite childhood novels. I enjoy listening to both classical and country music--and I love chocolate!
I enjoy teaching, and I am here to serve. Let's make this school year a great and successful adventure!
