What a great week for celebrating Progress in Thomasville City Schools! Over 200 students and staff were honored during the Evening of Excellence highlighting outstanding accomplishments throughout the district. Students received certificates and medals for Perfect Attendance, Straight A’s, Leadership and the Principal’s Awards. Special recognition goes to this year’s Teacher of the Year, MaCharito Hege from Thomasville Middle School, Beginning Teacher of the Year, Ernest Jeffords from Thomasville High School and the Principal of the Year, Jennifer Tallant from Thomasville Primary School. These three awardees will go on to compete with others from the area for their regional level titles. Additional staff members awards included in the recognition ceremony are listed below:
